ABOUT US
The Accademia degli Incogniti (Academy of Unknown
Persons) was founded in 1994 near Parma, the land of Verdi and Toscanini.
We take our name from an ancient Venetian academy which gave itself
the task of making music available outside the aristocratic courts.
We are a group of friends who believe in the value of cultural interests
and in passion for music, the theatre and the other arts.
Like our Venetian predecessors, subject to each person's other commitments,
without being presumptuous and somewhat tongue in cheek, we set about
the task of bringing artists and events of a high standard to our
area with the aim of providing entertainment which is not superficial,
but rather enriches the cultural environment of the region in which
we live and makes the best use of our artistic heritage.
